<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality of video from an extra video signal source to be displayed as a slave picture, and to display the slave picture with an arbitrary layout. <P>SOLUTION: A video display system comprising a display controller 20 and a display device includes, as the display controller 20, a controller which makes the display device 40 display the slave picture based upon the video signal from the other video signal source 30 other than the display controller 20 in a picture based upon the video signal output from the display controller 20, and outputs a control command specifying a display position and a display size as a display mode of the slave picture. Further, The video display system includes, as the display device 40, a display controller for displaying video based upon the video signal from the other video signal source as the slave picture in the video based upon the video signal output from the display controller 20 at the display position to the display size specified with the control command, and a display unit for displaying the video under the control of the display controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
