<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound data generating device for generating natural sounds that correspond to the behavior of a large number of particles under a fixed law, using a computer and includes the effects originated in the differences among the characteristics in each of the particles for the sounds generated, and to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: Various conditions giving influence, such as, virtual gravitational field, in motion of virtual particles 200 are set in a virtual space 100. A large number of the virtual particles 200 are discharged with a sprinkler 150 into the virtual space 100. A bowstring 120, sounded due to collision with the virtual particles 200, moves in the virtual space 100. Various characteristics (mass, shape, or the like) are set in the virtual particles 200, motion states in response to the characteristics are calculated, the vibration state of the bowstring at the collision of the virtual particles 200 and the bowstring 120 is calculated, in response to the characteristics, and various sounds corresponding to the characteristics of the virtual particles 200 are generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
