<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information accurately in accordance with time at when a user starts issuing a request through a network. <P>SOLUTION: An information server apparatus 116 includes a communication portion 118 receiving a request for getting information including a set of information source specifying information and time specifying information from a client, a user request information analyzing portion 122 analyzing the set of information source specifying information and time specifying information, and a table reference portion 129 for selecting information based on the result of analysis. The communication portion 118 returns the selected information to the client. The client adds the time when a user starts issuing a request for getting information to the request and transmits it to the information server apparatus.
