<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of printing in a network environment. <P>SOLUTION: A printing device transmits print suppression information indicating suppression of print processing, to another printing device on a downstream side upon reception of the print suppression information from another printing device 31 on an upstream side when the another printing device 31 in the downstream side exists, and the printing device transmits data received from another printing device 31 on the upstream side, to another printing device 31 on the downstream side upon reception of the data when the another printing device 31 in the upstream side exists. Upon reception of page deletion information which another printing device 31 on the upstream side transmits at each time of print processing of one page for a printing medium, the printing device deletes data corresponding to the print-processed page in accordance with page deletion information and, in the case of the existence of another printing device 31 on the downstream side, transmits the received page deletion information to the another printing device 31 to cause the another printing device 31 to delete data corresponding to the print-processed page, which are stored in the another printing device 31, in accordance with page deletion information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
