<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively construct an accurate time-information collection system in a printer, having only relative time while having no local absolute-time, and its printing system. <P>SOLUTION: Relative-time information of a printer is transmitted to a host server so as to compare it with local absolute-time provided in the host server.
