<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer container configured to uniformly mix toner and carrier, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developer container 34 id provided for storing the developer constituted of the toner and the carrier, supported by the image forming apparatus so that it can rotate about the center axis C. A discharge port 44a is formed at one end side of the center axis C to discharge the developer. A projecting part P projects toward the center axis C at the inner peripheral surface of a side face 42 surrounding the center axis C. A first slope 42a faces the one end of the center axis C. A second slope 42 faces the other end of the center axis C.
