COLORED COMPOSITION, COLORED PHOTOCURABLE COMPOSITION, COLOR FILTER, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, AND SOLID STATE IMAGING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition leaving little residue, forming a favorable pattern after development, and having high contrast and a favorable heat resistance.

SOLUTION: The colored composition comprises (a) a pigment, (b) a pigment derivative having an acid group and (c) a polymer compound. In the colored composition and/or a colored curable composition, the colored composition is dissolved in an aqueous alkali solution having a KOH concentration of 0.05 mass% in 30 seconds or less when formed into a coating film with a dried thickness of 1.0 μm, and (a) the pigment is covered with (b) the pigment derivative having an acid group or (c) the polymer compound.
