PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cutting device which can easily prevent optical fiber waste from jumping out from a recovery box and is not restricted in a place for use. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cutting device is configured to grip optical fiber waste Fcw cut from optical fibers by rollers 6a, 55d and to recover the waste in a recovery box 51. The recovery box 51 includes, in at least a part of the box, a charging section 51b capable of being charged into the polarity opposite to that of the optical fiber waste Fcw. The charging section 51b is electrically conducted to one of the rollers 6a, 55d that are triboelectrically charged into the polarity opposite to that of the optical fiber waste. The charging section comprises a charging member disposed on the bottom or the side wall of the recovery box, or having a charging probe and disposed on the bottom of the recovery box.
