PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inspecting a capacitor unit used for various electronic apparatus that can assure high precision through non-destructive test. SOLUTION: In the method, capacitors of which a pair of electrodes are taken out from a terminal board 5 and a metal case 4 are provided adjacent to each other, and the terminal board 5 of the adjacent capacitors 9 and 10 and the metal case 4 are connected with each other in series by means of a connection plate 11 by laser welding. When inspecting such a capacitor unit, a laser light not applied surface in the connection plate 11 is used as a reference plane, the cross section of a welded part between the connection plate 11 moved in parallel to the metal case 4 side from the reference plane and the metal case 4 is photographed one or more times by an X-ray CT unit. A joint area is calculated from tint of the photo of the cross section, and it is compared with a preset area to determine the quality of welding condition between the connection plate 11 and the metal case 4.
