ADDRESS ELECTRODE FORMING CONDUCTOR PASTE AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel (PDP) having an address electrode excellent in property of adhering to a protective layer against chemical etching, and to provide a conductor paste forming the electrode. SOLUTION: The Ag-based conductor paste forming the address electrode of the PDP is configured by adding and mixing: Ag fine powder of 0.5-2μm in average particle size; and a roughing material increasing the surface roughness of a conductor film formed by baking the conductor paste to a vehicle. The roughing material is added in an amount attaining the surface roughness of the conductor film of 0.55-0.65μm. The conductor paste is favorably applied to form the address electrode of PDP manufactured in such a manner that a partition of a predetermined pattern is formed by chemical etching performed with the address electrode covered with the protective layer (for example, a resist layer formed by dry film resist).
