PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button switch with a display device long in service life, highly stable in operation, wide in viewing angle and low in power consumption. SOLUTION: The push button switch with the display device includes a switching body, a switching element 10 disposed in the switching body and a plunger 12 protruding upward through a round hole 14 in a case cover 13, wherein vertical movement of the plunger 12 is guided within the switching body to open and close an electric circuit in cooperation with the switching element 10. The push button switch also includes the switching body constituted by the case cover 13 having the case 1 with longitudinal grooves 6 which are formed in four corners of an outer surface 3 of the case 1 and to which metallic round pins 11 of a small friction coefficient are fixed on the grooves 6 and the plunger 12, a holder 18 disposed in the operation button 21 and fixed by a pushing plate 17 and an organic light emitting display device (an organic light emitting diode panel) 19 attached to the holder 18.
