PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge which prevents increase in production lead time while preventing winding disorder even if a magnetic tape is taken up at high speed. SOLUTION: The cartridge comprises a magnetic tape 3 and a reel 2 which takes up the magnetic tape 3. The reel 2 has a hub 4 which takes up the magnetic tape 3, a first flange 5 prepared at one end of the hub 4, and a second flange 6 prepared at the other end of the hub 4. The first flange 5 includes a conductive material and its surface electric resistance value is≤10<SP>12</SP>Ω/square, and the surface electric resistance value of the second flange 6 is≥10<SP>14</SP>Ω/square.
