PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head which enables highly-accurate non-delivery detection and charging output control based on temperature information for each nozzle by providing a heater board equipped with a temperature detecting function and an applied-pulse selecting function. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head includes a temperature detection means which has a temperature detection element having a thin film resistor through an insulating film directly under each electrothermal transducer while selecting and reading the temperature information of each temperature detection element, and an electrothermal transducer drive means which has an applied-pulse selection means for selecting and establishing one applied pulse among a plurality of applied pulses for each electrothermal transducer while selecting and applying the electrothermal transducer.
