The present invention relates to an access device, method of side-tone suppression for a wireless connection, and a computer program product, wherein an echo cancellation function is used to cancel a side-tone echo generated at a line interface to the fixed network, and wherein the echo cancellation function is controlled to allow adaptation of the echo cancellation function only during a training phase of the wireless connection. Thereby, undesirable side-tone effects at the line interface can be suppressed, while the echo cancellation coefficients remain fixed during the data exchange session. |
