The arrangement has a piping strip (20') enclosing the peripheral edge of the windscreen (10') that has an approximately T-shaped profile in cross-section. The edge region of a water repeller (30') and the edge of the windscreen are accommodated on either side in the open legs of the piping strip, which are formed by the vertical shaft and the horizontal bridge (22), so that a water-tight connection is formed between the water repeller and the windscreen.
