<p>[PROBLEMS] To allow even a consumer to convert objectively a fact of CO2 emission reduction into a numerical representation, thereby providing a scheme for transacting the achievement of CO2 emission reduction with firms. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An ecology bag identification information read out by a POS cash register terminal is received, a consumer identification information relevant to the received ecology bag identification information is searched and identified, an amount of points is generated, the points having a value equivalent to a CO2 emission amount saved by the consumer through the use of the ecology bag instead of a disposable plastic bag, a free-gift selection request is received from the consumer, a firm is directed to provide the free-gift to the consumer, and at the same time, the amount of points consumed for the free-gift is associated with a CO2 emission amount and given to the firm which offered the free-gift.</p> |
