<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of grasping a remaining heat storage amount in a heat storage unit, controlling a heat storage amount of the heat storage unit to be small when a hot water supply load is small, and improving energy saving performance by reducing a radiation loss from the heat storage unit. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater comprises a heat pump cycle 20 constituted by connecting a compressor 21, a heat exchanger 22 for hot water supply, an expansion valve 23 and an evaporator 24 by pipes, and the heat storage unit 31 for storing heat of the liquid heated by using the heat pump cycle 20, the heat storage unit 31, a circulation pump 38 and the heat exchanger 22 for hot water supply are connected by pipes, and the remaining heat storage amount of the heat storage unit 31 is calculated. Since the remaining heat storage amount of the heat storage unit 31 can be grasped by an easy method with high accuracy, the heat storage amount in the heat storage unit 31 can be controlled to be small when it is estimated that a hot water supply load is small by learning control and the like, and the radiation loss from the heat storage unit 31 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
