PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproduction device capable of reproducing a desired music piece for making it user-friendly for a user. SOLUTION: First, the user instructs an arbitrary condition from search conditions of music piece contents displayed on a display. The search conditions include "artist name", "album name", "category" and "release month". When the "release month" is selected by the user, an indication image of the release month (January to December) is displayed on the display device. When "December" is selected on this image, a micro-computer for control extracts contents corresponding to the release month "December" from music piece contents recorded in a server, and a list of the music piece contents in which a creating month is "December" is displayed on the display 21.
