PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture composed of a new structure for which one layer of the surface plate part of a case body can be thinned and production efficiency is not damaged. SOLUTION: When constituting the case body A of the furniture from a plurality of metallic surface plate parts 11, 21, 31 and 41, reinforcing members 25, 26, 36 and 46 for compensating surface strength are attached to the respective surface plate parts 11, 21, 31 and 41 by interposing an adhesive over the almost entire area in a prescribed direction on at least a part of the contact surfaces of the surface plate parts 11, 21, 31 and 41 and the reinforcing members 25, 26, 36 and 46.
