RAMP RECORDER AND QUICK REPORTING TREE DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD

A system and method for determining whether an aircraft is ready to fly or should be repaired in light of obseration of non-functioning components of such aircraft. Steps in the method include a) observing damage or malfunction of such components, b) entering data related to such observation in a communications device connected to a remtoe server running query-driven decision and data analysis software c) initiating an automated interview session via the communications device with the software and alerting decision-makers of the results of the analysis. The software generates requests for information based on prior received information, processes such information to produce a report for making repair and dispatch decisions concerning the aircraft. Information on the report is stored in a database for statistical analysis purposes.
