The spindle-motor has a base plate on which a stator is arranged. A hub is connected with a shaft (13) in torque proof manner, and the shaft supports a bearing sleeve oppositively in the bearings. The shaft is mounted in hub head (12) of the hub in torque proof manner. A cross-sectional impairment peripheral area is attached between the hub head and an area of the hub. A part of the hub is formed oppositively to the hub head in twisting manner. The part of the hub is lying radially outward.
