A shut-off unit (1) for a gas comprising an obturator device (2), a first trigger device (30), chosen from a group comprising inertial, remotely-controlled, and pressure-5switch devices, and a second trigger device (40), different from the first device, being chosen from the group comprising inertial, remotely- controlled, and pressure- switch devices. The shut-off unit has a double trigger system, in that the causes determining such triggering are independent of each other.
