A reaper for harvesting sunflower seed has a platform, a screw, a cutterbar, an inclined conveyer, a pickup finger and a reel with a tracing device. The reel is made as a totality of many-sided disks arranged on a drive shaft and fixed along the periphery by gripping elements. Each of the disks is provided with z-like spring-loaded brackets, which are radially mounted on the side nonworking surface of each of the disks in such a manner as to allow moving the upper blade part thereof from the idle position into the working one and conversely. The end of the lower part of a z-like bracket is kinematically connected, by means of a roller, to a guiding plate of the tracing device which is made as an extended catcher and is allowed changing position thereof in the vertical-longitudinal plane. |
