METHOD FOR ASSESSING EFFICACY OF TREATING ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION IN EXPERIMENT

A method for assessing the efficacy of the treatment of arterial hypertension in the experiment provides for morphometric analysis of hystochemical specimens. The area and the density of the nuclei and RNA concentration in nuclei and cytoplasm of cardiomyocytes of rats is assessed prior to and after the treatment with bioprolol and combination of bioprolol with quercetine and thiotriasolin. The data are compared with the control values. The efficacy of the drug is assessed by the normalization of the parameters studied.
