The invention relates to the machine building - instrument engineering and it is intended for working by turning of nonrigid thin-walled components of type of solids of revolution of conical shape, such as the rotors of electrical micromachines and navigation instruments, the elements of aircraft and their electrical installations etc. A chuck contains a cup housing, inside which a stator is located in the form of a packet of annular magnetic circuits of toothed shape with phase coils, between which arched plastic aerostatic cantilever supports are located, which are rigidly connected with an elastic membrane clamped on the edge, which center section is connected through a screw-nut gear with a shaft of non-full-turning pneumatic engine. Supply of the windings of coils by multiphase voltage creates a rotary moment and axial displacement of the workpiece inside mounting face of chuck. Elimination of direct mechanical contact of the component with the adjusting and driving elements of chuck excludes transferring thermal and power deformations of process system to the component, which contributes to increase of the precision of working. |
