摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine existence of abnormality of a channel change over means changing over channels of an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid automobile 20 includes: an exhaust emission control device 50 including a first exhaust gas channel directly leading an exhaust gas from an engine 22 to a three way catalyst and a second exhaust gas channel leading an exhaust gas which have passed through an HC adsorption member to the three way catalyst; a channel change over valve 59 and an actuator 60 changing over the channel of the exhaust gas from the engine 22 between the first exhaust gas passage and the second exhaust gas passage by using negative pressure, a negative pressure tank 67 accumulating negative pressure generated by rotation of the engine 22; and a hybrid ECU 40 acquiring channel change over time tpc by the channel change over valve 59, based on pressure ptk accumulated in the negative pressure tank 67 and determining existence of abnormality of the channel change over valve 59 and the like, based on exhaust gas temperature Teg1, Teg2, taking the channel change over time tpc into account. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
