<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer which can prevent the generation of scumming caused by the scattering of a toner with the lapse of time by being used for a developing device provided with a feeding conveyance path at the upper part of a circulating conveyance path, to provide a developing device using the developer, to provide an image forming apparatus, to provide a process cartridge, and to provide an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: In a developing device 4 where a feeding conveyance path 9 is arranged so as to be located in the upper part of a stirring conveyance path 10 as a circulating conveyance path, a two-component developer for electrostatic image development composed of: a toner at least including inorganic fiber particles as an external additive; and a magnetic carrier is used, wherein the loose apparent density of the toner is ≤0.39 [g/cm<SP>3</SP>], the coverage of the eternal additive over the toner base of the toner is ≤80[%] of a surface area of the toner base, and the apparent density of the two-component developer is 1.55-1.70[g/cm<SP>3</SP>]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
