PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid increment of processing load applied to a multiple-point voice connection apparatus for mixing voice data transmitted from respective conference terminals with increase in the number of conference terminals participating to a remote conference. SOLUTION: When at least a conference terminal having the function for mixing voice data transmitted from other conference terminal is included within a plurality of the conference terminals, the multiple-point voice connection apparatus can preferentially select, prior to the opening of remote conference, the conference terminal having the relevant mixing function as a sub-terminal to set up in direct the communication session with the relevant multiple-point voice connection apparatus. The multiple-point voice connection apparatus can execute the process to set up the communication session between the other conference terminals not selected as the sub-terminal and the terminals having the mixing function and between the sub-terminal and the relevant multiple-point voice connection apparatus.
