PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient agent for removing harmful substances with a low-pressure drop free from shortening its life by its compression. SOLUTION: The agent for removing harmful substances constituted of a support comprising first fibers having a diameter of 1μm or smaller and second fibers having a diameter of 10μm or larger is characterized by comprising at least four layers wherein a layer consisting of the first fibers and a layer consisting of the second fibers are alternately laminated.
