The image forming device includes a processing operation executing unit configured to instruct a processing operation of each of a predetermined input unit, a predetermined processing unit, and a predetermined output unit. A controlled unit reporting unit is configured in the processing operation executing unit to notify a controlled unit of processing to be performed, to each of the predetermined input unit, the predetermined processing unit, and the predetermined output unit.
