<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle accurately determining the theft state by distinguishing theft from rocking generated in use at a usual time. <P>SOLUTION: A determination part 32 determines whether or not the vehicle is in the theft state from an inclination angle of the vehicle and an angular velocity of the vehicle and emits warning. When the vehicle is in the transportation or parking state, any of the inclination angle and the angular velocity of the vehicle are varied. Therefore, the determination part 32 determines that the vehicle is in the transportation or parking state and is not in the theft state when the inclination angle of the vehicle is a lower limit valueθor more and the angular velocity of the vehicle is larger than an upper limit valueω. Whereas, when the vehicle is in the theft state, variation is generated on the inclination angle of the vehicle, however, variation of the angular velocity of the vehicle, i.e., turning is not totally generated.
