PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product retaining belt device capable of easily removing an object to be packaged, and passing a film. SOLUTION: The product retaining belt device is equipped with an elevating/lowering device 36 for vertically moving a retaining belt 25, and a driving device 38 for rotatably driving the retaining belt. In the elevating/lowering device, a working block 39 is provided in an elevating/lowering movable manner on a supporting rod 38 mounted on a moving stand 37 which is elevated/lowered according to the forward/reverse rotation of a vertically extending screw shaft 43 in a downward extending manner, and a belt supporting bracket 60 is interlocked with the working block. When a locking pin 53 is inserted in a second positioning hole part 37b of the moving block, the working block is fixed to the moving stand. When the pin is drawn out, the working block is relatively elevated with respect to the moving stand by the elastic restoring force of a coil spring 50, and the retaining belt connected to the bracket 60 is also elevated.
