PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front vehicle body structure capable of enhancing the steering stability by arranging a power train on a rear side of a vehicle, and effectively preventing any damage of vehicular auxiliary machines arranged in an engine compartment when the vehicle is collided. SOLUTION: In a vehicle in which a recessed part 5 recessed to a rear side of a vehicle body is formed in a dash panel 3 for demarcating a cabin 1 from an engine compartment 2, and a part of a power train 11 for driving wheels is arranged in the recessed part 5, a bulkhead member 19 demarcating a forward part of the power train 11 extends in the vehicle width direction in the engine compartment 2, and vehicular auxiliary machines consisting of an on-vehicle battery 35 or a hydraulic control device 36 or the like for an antilock brake system are arranged at the position overlapping the bulkhead member 19 in front view, and at the position aside the power train 11.
