A remote monitoring system for reporting a failure of a facility apparatus or a managing device, if occurs, to the extent that the related person(s) do not feel burdensome. The remote monitoring system (10) comprises operation data receiving means (24), a failure report sending means (14g), new failure judging means (14e), repair progress data generating means (14f), and repair progress updating means (7, 22, 14c). The operation data receiving means receives failure data from a facility apparatus (5) or a managing device (3). The failure report sending means sends a failure report corresponding to the failure data to the related person(s). The new failure judging means judges if the failure data is new. The repair progress data generating means generates repair progress data while recognizing that the failure repair progress is in a first state when the failure data is new. The repair progress updating means can update the state of the repair progress of repair progress data from the first state to a second one. The failure report sending means stops sending the failure report if the repair progress is in the second state. |
