<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee roaster, can quickly and uniformly roasting coffee beans, without causing uneven roasting, of applying uniform heat while quickly removing the smoke generated in roasting coffee beans, and to give superior product quality and enables easy recovery of bean husks. <P>SOLUTION: The roasting device is provided with a port containing rotary blades and holding coffee beans, its body 10 detachably holding the port through an opening formed on the upper face and containing a heater for heating the port and a drive motor for making the rotary blades rotate, and a cover 50 connected to one side of the upper face of the body 10 through a hinge 51 that opens or closes the opening.
