<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent desiccant for maintaining dry environment in an electroluminescence device, which transparent desiccant has hygroscopicity, causes no crack even after moisture absorption and can maintain transparency. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent desiccant includes a mixture of an alkoxide of a metal of the group II, III or IV, and a transparent organic polymer not reacting with but compatible with this metal alkoxide; and by coating the surface of a sealed space interior of the electroluminescence device with the desiccant, the dry environment is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
