PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully secure both contact pressures to a sensor chip and a circuit board within a limitation in which an allocation space of a relay terminal for connecting the sensor chip and the circuit board with each other is narrow. SOLUTION: A liquid detector includes a body case with a channel formed to be exposed via an opening, a sensor base arranged facing to the channel of the body case, the sensor chip carried on the sensor base, a film which seals the opening where the sensor base is held, the circuit board supported at the body case oppositely to the sensor chip, and the relay terminal 260 which electrically connects the sensor chip and the circuit board with each other. The relay terminal 260 includes a base end 262 fixed to the body case, and a first and a second free ends 270 and 280 extending bifurcately from the base end. A first contact 272 connected to the circuit board is formed at the first free end 270, and a second contact 282 connected to the sensor chip is formed at the second free end 280.
