PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electroconductive silica particles having a high monodispersiveness of its particle diameter and showing an excellent conductiveness, an efficient manufacturing method of such a conductive silica particle, and a composition containing the conductive silica particle for forming a conductive film and a conductive film. SOLUTION: The electroconductive silica particles are composed of sphericals silica particles on the surface of which colloid particles containing metal are carried, and their average particle diameter (D2) measured by an image analysis method is in the range of 0.5-10 μm and a coefficient of variation of its particle diameter (CV value) is ≤5%.
