The invention relates to a fuel injection device with a resonant needle, that comprises a cylindrical body (10), a running part (11) mounted so as to be capable of sliding in the cylindrical body, the needle (110) being part of the running part (11) and having one end including a head (111) defining a valve on a seat (102) carried by one end of the cylindrical body (10). The device further includes an actuator (105) with an electro-active material, and holding means for urging the head (111) against the seat (102). The holding means (130) applies a magnetic force on the running part (11).
