LOCKING DEVICE FOR A WATER-SUPPLY SYSTEM

The invention relates to systems for supplying water to different containers, in particular to a passenger coach water tank. The inventive locking device comprises a body (1) connectable to a water-filling pipe, a valve (5) connected to a float (17) and a unit for signalling that the required water level is reached. The inventive device is characterised in that the body is provided with holes (13) communicating with the cavity thereof and in that the valve (5) is located in the body in such a way that it is displaceable between the valve support and thrust seats. In order to prevent the float (17) and connecting elements thereof from being effected by the water flow, the float (17) is coupled to the top part of the valve rod which is designed in such a way that water is able to pass therethrough to the signalling unit. In the second variant, for providing the actuating stability of the valve, the float (17) is connected to the valve rod by means of a linkage mechanism.
