<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic circuit breaker that can extract an electric path even when a trouble occurs in a processing part for processing current information. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic circuit breaker 1 comprises a contact 13 for connecting an external power supply 12 to the electronic circuit breaker 1, an extracting circuit part 2 for extracting the electric path 11, a current detecting part 3 for detecting a current, a voltage detecting part 4 for detecting voltage, the processing part 6 for outputting an extraction signal to the extracting circuit part 2 in accordance with current information and voltage information and for periodically outputting periodical signals, and a timer part 7 for acquiring the periodical signals from the processing part 6. The timer part 7 acquires the periodical signals from the processing part 6 and outputs the extraction signal to the extracting circuit part 2 when it cannot acquire the next periodical signal with a predetermined time elapsed. When the periodical signals from the processing part 6 are terminated, the extraction signal is output from the timer part, and so the electric path 11 can be extracted even when a trouble such as runaway or failure occurs in the processing part 6, resulting in improved reliability of the electronic circuit breaker 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
