<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a writing pressure in an input device using a touch panel and an input pen. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel input device comprises: the input pen Y having two pen tips, and changing, when both the pen tips are pressed onto a plate body, the distance between contact points on a plate body of the respective pen tips according to the pressing force; the touch panel 17 which detects and outputs, when a contact object touches a sheet-like panel, the position of a contact point of the contact object on the panel, the touch panel 17 simultaneously outputting positions of at least two or more points; and an arithmetic means which receives an output for two contact points from the touch panel 17, calculates a distance between the two points, and outputs writing pressure data based on the calculated distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
