<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for reproducing data capable of displaying data in a form of a more abundant force of expression by displaying an image by various expression methods in cooperation among a plurality of devices. <P>SOLUTION: When there are a plurality of data reproducing devices mutually adjacently, mutual presences are confirmed by detecting signals.
