<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sealing performance by discriminating whether or not a seal ring in a coupling body is illegally reused, thus contributing to the prevention of the illegal reuse of the seal ring, in an insertion type pipe coupling capable of extracting a connection pipe. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe extracting tool 25 is used for extracting the connection pipe 11, and has a tool body 25a having a collar pressing part 25b at the tip for pressing the rear end side of a collar 15, and a projection piece 26 projectingly fixed to the other side from the collar pressing part 25b and insertable into a clearance between the inner periphery of the rear end of the collar 15 and the outer periphery of the connection pipe 11. A projection 26a for attaching an identification mark 27 such as abrasion to the inner surface or the rear end surface of the rear end of the collar 15 is projected outward on the outside surface of the projection piece 26. Whether or not the seal ring 5 is illegally reused can be discriminated by confirming the existence of the identification mark 27 to the inner surface or the rear end surface 15d of the rear end 15c of the collar 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
