<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve charge/discharge cycle characteristics, and storage characteristics in a charged state, in a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a negative electrode active material to be alloyed with lithium for a negative electrode by improving a non-aqueous solvent used for a non-aqueous electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode 1; the negative electrode 2; a separator 3 interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and the non-aqueous electrolyte prepared by dissolving a solute in a non-aqueous solvent. In this battery, the negative electrode active material to be alloyed with lithium is used for the negative electrode, and the non-aqueous solvent in the non-aqueous electrolyte contains fluorinated cyclic carbonate and propyl acetate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
