<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack in which by forming a wire mesh part of a collector larger than an electrode of an MEA, and supporting a sealing member with the wire mesh part, a flow passage is not narrowed at an entrance and exit part of reaction gas, the number of parts can be decreased, a structure can be simplified, reliability can be made high, and cost can be made low. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack has the MEA plate prepared by pinching an electrolyte layer between a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode laminated with an interposition of the separator plate equipped with a collector arranged and installed in a fuel gas flow passage along the fuel electrode and a collector arranged and installed in an oxidant flow passage along the oxygen electrode. The MEA plate is equipped with the MEA 21 and the sealing member 17 composed of an elastic body connected to the outer periphery of the MEA 21, and the collector is formed larger than the fuel cell electrode and the oxygen electrode and supports a flat surface part of the sealing member 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
