PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of increasing the reliability of the location information of an object and being suitably used for a use for which the location information is important information such as nature observation, disaster observation and archaeological investigation. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus calculates the location information of the object on the basis of the location information of an imaging position, the azimuth angle information of the optical axis of a lens and distance information from the imaging position to the object, also calculates the error information of an object position on the basis of the error information of the location information, the accuracy information of the azimuth angle information of the optical axis of the lens and the error information of the distance information, and then displays the presence range of the object at a display on the basis of the location information of the object and the error information of the object position.
