PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust, in a rail carrying vehicle with a belt directly hung on an engine and a transmission, extension of the belt only by rotating the engine back and forth, and at this time, when the rotation angle of the engine is changed greatly, to increase adjustment range by arranging so that the engine can also shift back and forth. SOLUTION: A belt adjustment structure of a rail carrying vehicle where an engine and a transmission mounted on a frame are connected together through a belt, in which an adaptor is mounted on the frame so as to be shiftable back and forth, and a mounting table rotatable back and forth around a support pin is mounted on the adaptor, and the engine is fixed to the mounting table.
