PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint capable of sufficiently increasing its operation angle without deteriorating power transmitting performance and durability. SOLUTION: The constant velocity universal joint is provided with an outer joint member 1 formed to have a cylindrical shape and having a roller guide part 13 extended in the axial direction on the inner peripheral side; an inner joint member 2 of which one end part inserted into the outer joint member 1 has a plurality of roller support shafts 23 protruded to the radial direction at even intervals in the circumferential direction; and a plurality of rollers 24 rotatably supported by the plurality of roller support shafts 23, respectively and guided to a direction parallel with the axis of the outer joint member 1 by the roller guide part 13 of the outer joint member 1. The constant velocity universal joint is further provided with an energizing means 30 for energizing the plurality of rollers 24 from the base end sides of the plurality of roller support shafts 23 toward the projecting end sides within a range of guide height where the rollers 24 are guided by the roller guide part 13.
