PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally-actuated steam trap of a large discharge quantity wherein a valve member is hardly sucked up toward a valve seat member side. SOLUTION: An inlet 2, a valve chest 4, and an outlet 3 are formed in a casing including a main body 1 and a cover member 5. A valve seat member 7, which is provided with a valve hole 6 for allowing the valve chest 4 to communicate with the outlet 3, is placed between the valve chest 4 and the outlet 3. A wall member 10, a diaphragm member 13, an expansion medium 14 sealed between both the members and a valve member 15 coupled to the side of the valve seat member 7 of the diaphragm member 13 are combined to form a temperature controlling machine-element 8 which is placed in the valve chest 4. A coil spring 22 as an elastic member for urging the valve member 15 in the valve-opening direction is placed between the valve member 15 and the valve seat member 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
